Job Description:
Cost Accountant is responsible for assisting divisional
controllers in supporting field operation with accounting,
administrative, and financial analysis needs. Works under general
direction; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a
regular basis; and requires a certain degree of creativity and
autonomy to perform the job. * Conduct plant review administrative
audits * Audit physical inventory and cycle count procedures at the
plants * Ad hoc financial reporting to support operational
decision-making * Analyzes Manufacturing and Purchasing Variances *
Preventing fraud and safeguarding company assets * Reviews Aged
Inventory * Assist with annual budgeting process * Capital
expenditures ROI analysis * Assist plants with inventory costing *
Monitor internal controls * Performs other duties as required Equal
