Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly or bi-weekly payrolls for multi-state and
possibly international employees, ensuring accuracy and
compliance
Review and reconcile payroll data including compensation, bonuses,
commissions, taxes, and benefits
Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll-related general
ledger accounts monthly, while ensuring compliance with payroll
regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
preferred
5+ years of payroll experience preferred
2+ years in a senior or lead payroll role preferred
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and multi-state payroll
processing
Experience with payroll systems and accounting software required,
with preference for Paychex and NetSuite
