yourself! As the MRI Technologist you will perform/nbasic and
complex MR imaging procedures as well as
post-processing/nresponsibilities. This will require an in-depth
understanding of human/ncross-sectional anatomy, physiology,
pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology./nYou will be
expected to support all imaging centers/nstaffed by our
organization. You will be required to maintain a high degree/nof
accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation.
You will be/nexpected to support all imaging centers staffed by our
organization. You will/nalso need to apply your knowledge of
magnetic field safety and properly screen/nall patients and
visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You/nwill: /n
- Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders /n - Maintain
accurate up-to-date records of procedures/n performed /n - Operate
a variety of post-processing/3D workstations /n - Perform accurate
image archival /n - Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast
media /n - Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the/n
patient /n *Internal/ncandidates will be placed according to their
Active/Current career ladder/nlevel* Salary/nRange: $52.22 - $68.84
Hourly Qualifications Please ensure your resume and
application/nincludes all relevant certifications and licenses. /n
- Licenses /n /n - A combination of the ARRT and CRT – required.
MR/n certificate required /n /n OR you need /n /n - A combination
of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required /n /n /n - BCLS from
American Heart Association or American Red/n Cross – required /n -
Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program –/n required /n
/n - Venipuncture/n certificate – preferred /n - AA/n or BS –
preferred /n - At/n least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred /n -
Siemens/n experience – preferred /n - Ability/n to adapt to
advancements and changing technologies /n - Ability/n to identify
contraindications for exams /n - Excellent/n communication,
interpersonal and independent decision-making skills /n -
Familiarity/n with clinical billing (IDX codes) /n - Knowledge/n of
human anatomy and pathology /n - Strong/n attention to detail and
multi-tasking abilities /n - You will be required to rotate to all
radiology sites/n staffed by UCLA Health /n
