Job Description:

We are searching for a senior Electrical Engineer with electro-optical experience to support our client's Electrical Engineering department with new product development and sustaining engineering activities.
Our client is a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services, and solutions for industrial process engineering.
LOCATION
Ann Arbor, MI or Rancho Cucamonga, CA
This role is not available as a remote/telecommute. Relocation assistance is available for a highly-qualified candidate.
Compensation
Up to $115K (potentially higher for exceptional-fit candidate)

  EDUCATION
  BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering is required
  Required For Electrical Engineer
  
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with at least some of that time spent on electro-optical work.
    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
    
    • Design mixed signal circuits, multi-layer circuit boards working within defined mechanical constraints to produce reliable, space efficient boards.
    • Schematic capture, layout and all required output files for mixed signal, multi-layer circuit designs in Altium.
    • Electrical Packaging, Integration of off-the-shelf components, System Testing.
    • Generate all engineering documentation for release to manufacturing.
    • Component and system level testing and documentation.
    • If you have a background in embedded systems, there may be opportunities to contribute to embedded software development using C or C++.
    • Sustaining engineering.
