Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to
join our team, focusing on automation and electrical systems for
water treatment processes. This role is integral in designing,
developing, and executing control systems to optimize operations in
municipal and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities Design and
implement control systems for water treatment applications
including filtration, ultrafiltration (UF), and microfiltration
(MF). Develop and program PLC and HMI systems using platforms such
as Allen Bradley and Siemens. Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing
(FAT) and support commissioning of control systems at client sites.
Create and maintain control panel design, wiring schematics, and
P&ID documentation. Ensure systems comply with relevant
standards such as UL508 and NFPA. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to integrate industrial sensors, Variable Frequency Drives
(VFD), and SCADA systems into existing infrastructures. Utilize
protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profinet for communication
between devices and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Engineer in
water treatment or similar industries. Strong knowledge of PLC
programming, HMI design, and control panel layout. Ability to ready
P&ID's, electrical schematics and panel drawings. Familiarity
with industrial communication protocols and systems such as
Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profinet. Experience with design and
implementation of control systems including FAT and commissioning
processes a plus! Experience in Scada or data logging software such
as Wonderware, WinCC, or Ignition (a plus). Benefits - Medical,
