Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Production Scheduler to support aerospace manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and managing production schedules using MRP/ERP systems . This role ensures material availability, capacity alignment, and on-time execution of production schedules in a regulated, high-mix manufacturing environment. The Production Scheduler works closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to support program requirements, meet customer delivery commitments, and drive schedule stability. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute detailed production schedules using MRP/ERP systems Translate demand, forecasts, and sales orders into executable shop floor schedules Monitor material availability, capacity constraints, and work center loading to support on-time delivery Adjust schedules to address production issues, material shortages, engineering changes, and shifting priorities Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve schedule conflicts Review new work orders and establish achievable start and completion dates Track schedule performance and communicate status, risks, and recovery plans Support production meetings, schedule reviews, and SIOP activities Maintain accurate system data to support planning, reporting, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3 years of production scheduling or manufacturing planning experience, preferably in aerospace or defense Hands-on experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and material flow Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related planning tools Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in AS9100 or other regulated manufacturing environments Knowledge of SIOP, demand planning, and capacity planning processes Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
