Job Requisition ID: 10506 Position Summary/Position The Director
of Accounting Services provides leadership for accounting
operations activities related to accounts payable/receivable,
payroll, Treasury functions, and safeguarding organizational
assets.Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) 1. Lead
internal accounting operations, which includes accounts
payable/receivable, payroll, cash management, and bank
reconciliations. 2. Ensure cash and investment accounts are kept at
the optimum levels to meet the daily cash requirements and
capitalize on investment opportunities for IEHP.3. Oversee the
accuracy of GL accounts and reconciliations related to Accounting
Services departmental activities. 4. Oversee data integrity and
accuracy of payroll processes while complying with payroll and tax
laws and audit requirements.5. Establish internal controls to
mitigate and prevent fraud as it relates to Accounting Services
departmental activities.6. Assist other departments as they develop
strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could
have a financial impact on the business.7. Develop new ideas
through innovation and creativity on the improvements of accounting
systems and workflows and implementing automation to improve
accuracy and efficiency.8. Oversee and direct work relating to both
internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company
financial records. Is further responsible for the implementation of
agreed upon recommendations, related to areas of responsibility,
resulting from the audit results.9. Monitor premium billing
activities and work with internal departments and external vendors
to coordinate premium billing processes.10. Establish strong
working relationships with business units throughout IEHP and with
external vendors. Work collaboratively to resolve issues, expedite
requests, and provide high-quality customer service.11. Teach,
implement, and understand elements of empowerment and team
building.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLeader: Administers Hires,
Terminations, and Performance ReviewsExperience Qualifications
Minimum of seven (7) years leading and managing accounts
payable/receivable functions, GL reconciliations, cash management
and Treasury functions, and payroll activities. Minimum of five (5)
years of leadership experience. Must have ERP System
experience.Preferred Experience Oracle Fusion application
experience a plus. Previous healthcare experience
preferred.Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration, Economics, Public Health or related field from an
accredited institution required.Preferred Education Master's degree
from an accredited institution preferred.Professional Licenses
Possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Certified
Public Accountant (CPA) License issued by the California Board of
Accountancy required.Drivers License RequiredYes, must have a valid
California Driver's License.Knowledge Requirement Advanced
knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and
extensive practical application of general accounting theory.
Strong knowledge of internal control principles, fraud mitigation
practices, payroll processes, and premium billing processes.Skills
Requirement Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Excellent
problem-solving skills. High level analytical skills.Abilities
Requirement Ability to articulate and embrace organizational
values, integrates into management practices, and foster their
manifestation among staff. High level of attention to detail.
Ability to deliver and perform under tight deadlines. Communicate
effectively within all IEHP organizational levels and external

and $223,371.20, based upon experience and internal equity. Inland
