Job Description:
A company is looking for a Software Asset Manager to oversee
software asset management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and strategize Software Asset Management for the Core
Technology Organization, including onboarding and retirement
processes
Conduct program management and process engineering for cloud and
open source software
Oversee commercial software budgets, vendor management, and legal
agreements while addressing vendor issues and negotiations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business,
technology, or finance
Five years of experience in technology or software management
within business operations or asset management
Experience in contract management and technology sourcing
Proficiency in managing budgets and implementing cost reduction
programs
Experience in presenting and communicating with senior
leadership
