Apply today if this sounds like a great fit!Compensation:$17 hourlyResponsibilities:Document the patient's vital signs including respiration rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, and pulse and write down the information in their chartGreet patients, handle telephone calls, schedule appointments, and answer inquiries regarding treatment or prescription refills to make sure each patient has a great experience in our officeFill out the appropriate insurance forms and document patient appointments, listing all symptoms, test results, diagnoses, treatment instructions, and prescriptions on the patient recordsProvide support to healthcare staff during examination by handing the correct supplies and medical instruments to the physician, position the patient, and assisting with other tasks as neededGet examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilizedQualifications:Graduated from high school or received GEDAbility use a computer to complete administrative tasksHas Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agencyCandidates must have successfully completed an accredited medical assisting program a supervised externship in a healthcare setting1 year of prior experience as in a medical assisting role performing administrative duties or similar position in a healthcare work environmentAbout CompanyRCMC Medical Center is a premier health and wellness clinic that has been serving the community for over 15 years.
