Job Description:

Searching for a Laboratory Technician who has prior experience in a medical laboratory and is detail oriented and prepared to handle a dynamic and time pressured envrionment


*Required*


* Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a lab

* Able to run Beckman AU680

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred

* Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs such as Schuyler House - Medical Information Software (LIS)

* Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios



*Responsibilities*


* Receive or collect, as well as process, samples

* Perform equipment maintenance

* Must be familiar with and practice safe work habits including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations (i.e. HIPPA, OSHA)


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour


Healthcare setting:

* Medical laboratory

Schedule:

* 8 hour shift

* Day shift

* Evening shift

* Monday to Friday

* Weekend availability

Education:

* Bachelor's (Preferred)


Experience:

* Clinical Laboratory Experience: 2 years (Preferred)

* Laboratory Experience: 2 years (Preferred)


License/Certification:

* Medical Technologist (Preferred)
