Job Description:
We are in search of a Medical Assistant to support the flow of
patient care by providing excellent patient relations. The Medical
Assistant will be responsible for greeting patients and checking
out patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Oversee and ensure efficient turnover of patient rooms
-Assist Providers as necessary
-Provide general patient care services, including taking patient's
vital information, specimen collections, intake registration forms,
and conversing with patients to complete records
-Scheduling appointments and follow-ups
-Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and
professional manner
-Receive payments from patients for services rendered
-Checking patients in and out
- Function as a research assistant
SKILLS:
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office
