Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Redlands,
California, 92373! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years
preferred License: Valid state nursing license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: 1:3 patient
ratio experience with trachs and ventilator management. Experience
with non-titrated cardiac drip management (Amiodarone, Milrinone,
Lasix, Cardizem, dopamine, and dobutamine) is required. Preferred
experience with 3:1 insulin management. Experience with a telemetry
monitoring system preferred. Description: VAYA OFFER - one set of
up to 7 consecutive days of RTO will be approved. 1:3 patient ratio
with tracheostomy and ventilator management required. Non-titrated
cardiac drip management is required. Certifications required are
NIH, ACLS, and BLS from the American Heart Association only.
Experience with Meditech Expanse is preferred. First-time travelers
with PCU experience and a 1:3-4 patient ratio will be considered.
Minimum of 2 weekends per month is required. Float within areas of
competency (med/surg, tele, obs) is expected. Staff support
includes interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy,
physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory
services, social services, and unit secretary. Intensivist and
hospitalist provider coverage is available. Required skills and
experience include telemetry monitoring, management and
interpretation of dysrhythmias, and post-MI care. Additional skills
include feeding tube care and management, pre/post hemodialysis
management, and central line care/management. Experience with
ventilated patients, chest tube management, and isolation
precautions is necessary. Wound care and vacuum-assisted closure
management are required. Preferred skills include post-cardiac
angiogram care and insulin titration. Unit details include support
from interdisciplinary teams and management of various patient
diagnoses, including sepsis, stroke, respiratory failure, and
withdrawal symptoms. Special procedures or equipment may involve
non-titrated cardiac drips and use of ventilators, HFNC, and BIPAP.
Travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted. 5
