Locums Pediatric Radiologist - Long Beach, CAAssignment
OverviewFacility: Women's & Children's Hospital - Long Beach,
CAStart Date: December 22, 2025End Date: December 31, 2025Option to
continue PRN coverage after these datesShift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
(9-hour day shift)Setting: Inpatient hospital environmentCoverage
Type: Covering an absence or vacancy; may include weekend shift
assistanceEMR: Epic (Inpatient) Availability and Call
RequirementsOnsite Coverage: Dates: December 22-31, 2025 Hours:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weekend Call (Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM):
Responsible for all pediatric inpatient and ER studies between 8:00
AM-6:00 PM Case mix: approximately 85% plain films, 15% ultrasound,
CT, and MR (no nuclear medicine) Average workload: 60-80 studies
per day Available for questions from technologists and review of
outside studies Performs urgent pediatric fluoroscopic procedures
(non-interventional) After 6:00 PM, covers inpatient film consults
until StatRad takes over at 11:00 PM May occasionally read ER
studies late at night or be called in for procedures Weeknight Call
(8:00 PM - 6:00 AM): Responsible for inpatient film consults
between 8:00 PM-11:00 PM Available for emergent fluoroscopic
procedures overnight Licenses and Certifications (Must Haves)
Double board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric
Radiology Active, unrestricted California medical license DEA
license required BLS or ACLS certification required Completion of
an ACGME-accredited three-year Diagnostic Radiology residency
Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology (required) Epic
(Inpatient) experience required Minimum one year of experience;
three or more years preferred Clinical DetailsFacility Type:
