Tech) Location: Mission Viejo, CA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week Pay Rate: $3,000 –
$3,200 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cath Lab
Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Mission Viejo,
CA. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnostic and
interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring high-quality
patient care and procedural efficiency in a fast-paced Cath Lab
environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians during cardiac
catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasty, and
stent placements Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and
sterile field Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and
hemodynamic data during procedures Operate imaging equipment such
as fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems Administer
contrast media and medications as directed (per scope of practice)
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning Respond to
emergency situations, including cardiac events Maintain accurate
documentation in EMR systems Follow infection control, radiation
safety, and regulatory standards Requirements: Minimum 2 years of
Cath Lab Tech experience Active ARRT (R) or RCIS (Registered
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
California state licensure (if applicable) Current BLS (Basic Life
Support) certification required ACLS certification
preferred/required per facility Strong knowledge of cardiac
procedures, hemodynamics, and imaging equipment Ability to work in
a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
