SUMMARY The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for
designing, developing, maintaining, monitoring and extending the
data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet the
enterprisersquos business analysis and reporting needs. The Data
Warehouse Developer will partner with business units and IT to
model out the technical vision for applications in the Enterprise
Data Warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following. 1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and
procedures, and federal and state laws applicable to the job. 2.
Handles complex duties within the database warehousing function 3.
Provides analytical support and consultation on projects to ensure
appropriate design, implementation, testing, and documentation 4.
Develops and maintains an enterprise data warehouse system and
corresponding data marts 5. Ensures quality of data through the
configuration and audit of the data warehouse 6. Troubleshoots and
adjusts existing data warehouse applications 7. Assists in
establishing development and database management standards 8.
Researches and assesses new data warehouse applications. 9.
Provides support and consultation to ensure system and business
requirements are documented and understood during the design and
development phase 10. Creates, configures, secures and tunes
databases, database objects, and features 11. Design and optimize
database schema, architecture, queries, and complex stored
procedures, for OLTP, OLAP and unstructured data services. 12.
Design, evaluate and optimize database structures (tables, views,
and functions) while developing methods scripts for monitoring
database capacity, usage and performance. 13. Works in a team
environment to design, implement, extend, and maintain both
internal applications as well as customer facing web services. 14.
Provide, present, and promote the companies experience to all
external and internal customers 15. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must

essential functions. EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree
(B. A.) from four-year college or university with a focus on an
analytical related field including Information Technology, Science,
or Engineering or one to two years related experience andor
training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual
should have a working knowledge of the following bull Minimum 5
yearsrsquo business intelligence (BI) development experience.
Experience working with BI tools highly desirable. Knowledge of
PowerBI is desirable, but experience with Tableau or Qlik is
adequate. bull Minimum 5 yearsrsquo of data warehouse development
experience, working knowledge of Kimball and Data Vault data
warehousing methodology is highly desirable. bull Minimum 5
yearsrsquo of database development experience using SQL Server 2008
R2 or higher bull Minimum 2 yearsrsquo of experience with Microsoft
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2012 or higher. OTHER
QUALIFICATIONS bull Experience with SSRS development, dimensional
models, SQL, views and store procedure development bull
Self-starter and independent individual with ability to work with
minimal supervision bull Strong interpersonal skills with the
ability to develop rapport with team members and business partners.
bull Ability to collaborate with a diverse team members and
business partners. bull Delivered solutions for the
insurancebanking industry is a plus
