Position Summary:The Oracle Apps Database Administrator at SRNA is responsible for managing and supporting Oracle Databases, Oracle E-business Suite, Oracle SOA Suite related daily maintenance tasks. Cloning and patching applications and databases, performing backup tasks, handling recovery responsibilities, performance tuning, monitoring, documentation, managing service requests with Oracle support, maintain security standards. Partners with various technical and business groups to optimize and maintain the system availability and performance standards.Analyze performance issues in the application, concurrent manager, and database tiers of E-Business Suite installations. Aid development teams with tuning database queries, reviewing and testing patches, configuration, and code migrations.In this position the Apps DBA will work closely with the DBA manager in a hybrid workspace environment allowing a mix of remote work and onsite. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incident alerts.
Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of current hands-on experience as Oracle EBS APPS DBA (preferably EBS R12.1 and R12.2).5+ years of experience as Oracle Core DBA.Strong experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and organized.Must be motivated to learn new technologies.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information technology, Information Systems, or a field related.
