CDL Class A Tractor Trailer Teams/ Utility Drivers Ontario, CA Pay: 29.30 per hour Job Description: Our customer is a worldwide leader in automotive manufacturing and the positions that we are interviewing for involve the delivery of their name brand repair/replacement auto parts to their automobile retail locations. This is a TOUCH FREIGHT POSITION but we will teach you how to do this safely and easily. You will be completely trained in the proper handling/delivery of the product. You will be driving a late model day cab and pulling a 48’ lift gated trailer. All of our equipment is well maintained – from the tractors to trailers to the material handling equipment that you will be using to make your job safe and simple. The positions that we are interviewing are for Utility/Extra Board Drivers. These important, and high paying position, require drivers who can run any of the local, and remote domicile, delivery routes. You will be covering vacations, vacancies, training needs, etc. Training will be outstanding and the candidate must come to the table with a high level of skill, confidence and safety skills. REMOTE DOMICLE ASSIGNMENTS: You must also be willing to travel to cover remote domicile routes: When assigned to cover a remote domicile route you will be gone during the week but home on the weekend . Remote Domicile Routes are located in Tucson, Blythe, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Bakersfield, Lodi, Gilroy and Los Banos. When assigned to cover a remote domicile route your travel expenses are covered and you will receive Route Pay is based on the driver’s daily route assignment, plus a per diem of $45.00 per day to offset your meal and incidental expenses. Hotel reservations will be made by DHL and billing will come directly to DHL. You will not be home during the week, when covering a remote domicile, but you will return home for the weekend.(depending on the Domicile) Paid orientation and training Comprehensive and affordable benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision. Requirements: Minimum of 12-months verifiable Class A driving experience. Valid Class A operator's license. Be a minimum 21 years of age. Safe driving record.
