VMS COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

  1. Will be responsible for executing WMS sourcing strategy and tactics.
  2. Develop sourcing strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (Example: internal database, job boards, etc.)
  3. Utilize resources to attract qualified candidates with skills that pertain to the open positions at the account (Example: Clerical, Light industrial, Professional, etc…)
  4. Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by through phone interviews.
  5. Work with Account Managers to identify target skillsets, and assess client staffing requirements.
  6. Complete additional processes including face-to-face interviews and reference checks etc. if necessary
  7. Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment.
  8. Thorough documentation in Aerotek’s applicant tracking systems and/or other documentation tools.
  9. Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
  10. Suggest process and policy improvements to the Account Manager based on daily interactions with potential candidates

 

Specific to Amgen:

  1. Send candidates right to represent statements proactively to prepare for submittal 
  2. Learn how to submit within Fieldglass in case Account Manager is out of the office or unable to submit per speed to market
  3. Attend lunches and calls involving AGS to fully understand goals and reqs for focus 
  4. Meet up with Account Manager every morning to prioritize reqs for focus and game plan a sourcing strategy 

 

Specific to Anthem:

  1. Send out appropriate testing based on the requirement (GATE, Kenexa or People Answers)
  2. Sent out Right to Represent documents
  3. Submit to Fieldglass
  4. Update Google documents when appropriate (Used during large ramp ups – for candidate tracking)
  5. Attend lunches/inhouses/req quals and other miscellaneous events that can help paint perspective of the role and next steps in the process
  6. Attend conference calls that involve SAE’s/SDO/RRC and other offices throughout the nation that would give perspective to the opportunities and the processes
  7. Meet with internal team(s) daily to map out an action plan for the day.
