Job Description Description This full-time position is a
technical support role working with an integrated team of Support
and Sr. Engineers.
The Desktop Support Specialist will develop knowledge and
experience in VC3's hardware/software concepts, tools, and support
best practices. This knowledge and experience will also be used to
support various VC3 Tools, including but not limited to Cove,
StorageCraft, Auvik, N-Central, Connectwise, WatchGuard, IT Glue,
QuickPass, etc. Onboarding and deployment assistance of tools and
applications for the client base is a critical responsibility of
the Desktop Support Specialist. The Desktop Support Specialist is
also part of the internal IT Team at Accent and will follow VC3's
response and resolution procedures for internal IT service
tickets.
Here's what you will be responsible for:
- Respond to internal and client support issues via phone and
e-mail
- Determine escalation points for specific problems and follow
instructions for alerting and escalating team members about
internal and client issues.
- Follow documented instructions on problem resolutions.
- Desktop Bench Repair on Workstations and Laptops for Client
Initiated Incidents. Mastery of Windows, Apple OS, Office, and
other applications will be necessary. Communication and
Documentation on these tickets will be essential.
- Warehouse Asset Management including receiving, configuring,
and shipping of client assets, utilizing Asset Panda asset
management software. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Configuration, Troubleshooting and Deployment of Management
Probes. This will require on-site delivery to client sites.
- Computer Lab Maintenance Maintaining a clean and organized
computer lab
- Backup and Restore Daily triage and support of backup
tickets
- Internal IT support
- Service Board Management Daily triage and escalation of
monitoring and alerting support tickets generated from our RMM
system.
- Onboarding support to Sr. Support Specialists Assisting in all
Initial Setup & Discovery onboarding tasks.
- Onboarding Huddles - Attend onboarding huddles and provide any
updates on pending tasks and obstacles.
- Documentation Must update ConnectWise and SharePoint with all
relevant documentation during the onboarding process.
- Internal Tools - Deployment, Implementation and Support for
Accent internal tools
Here's what we need from you:
- 2+ years supporting Microsoft Windows 10/11
- 2+ years experience supporting Microsoft Office 2016
Office365
- 2+ years experience supporting Spyware and Antivirus
software
- 2+ years experience upgrading and repairing desktop and/or
laptop computers.
- Microsoft Technology Associate a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work successfully with an integrated support
team

- Candidate must have a valid drivers license and reliable
transportation
- Travel Requirements: day travel often
- Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5
