Requisition ID: 1288Job Desription:The job of the Quality
Inspector, Manufacturing was established for the purpose/s of
assisting in maintaining the quality of all manufactured components
and assembled products for the RTS division by using blueprints,
verbal instructions and procedures laid out by the Operations
Manager.? In addition, participates in all aspects of
troubleshooting basic problems in manufacturing and providing a
positive connection with others in order to achieve the goal of
high quality standards.??Essential Job Functions and
Responsibilities: Sales AssociateInspects parts manufactured in
house & by outside vendors to blueprint specifications.Informs
vendors regarding part rejections.Maintains calibration
certification for calipers & micrometers.Receives & process
certification documents for annual FSE equipment audits, including
NSF.? ?Issues and maintains serial numbers for large
machinery.Provides equipment identification labeling as requested
by manufacturing conforming to Sunkist standards.?Red lines blue
prints needing revisions pending engineering redrawing for ECO's
(Engineering Request Orders).Maintains regular and timely
attendance.Accomplishes department goals and organization mission
by completing related tasks as needed.?Minimum Educational and
Experience Qualifications/Requirements:High school graduate or
equivalent. Inspection Training Certificate or equivalent.??At
least two years? experience in a machine shop environment operating
mills, lathes, drill press, metal saw and deburring tools.?Must be
able to read and understand engineering blueprints for fabrication
and assembly of parts.?Ability to communicate, interact and work
effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and
educational backgrounds which include customers, vendors and
associates.?Must be capable of using precision tools like dial
calipers, micrometers, indicators, microscopes, depth gauges.?Must
be able to follow written and oral instructions.?Have knowledge of
safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and
stewardship processes.?Must be adaptable to a changing work
environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent
change, delays or unexpected events.?Must possess basic math skills
to include but not limited to the ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.? ?Must be willing to learn and
practice continuous improvement techniques.?Basic computer
knowledge (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel).??Well what
