Women strongly encourage to apply.--SUMMARY: The Lead must follow and ensure others are following all plant safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety rules and regulations. The Lead is responsible for the operation of all bottling equipment and personnel on the line to maximize safety, quality/food safety, and efficiencies. Data entry, documentation and paperwork procedures must be followed. The Lead will train new employees, support the team by rotating breaks, lunches, troubleshoot equipment problems, and fill in for employees as needed.--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:--- Come in 30 minutes before the start of the scheduled shift--- Verify line setup is ready and product is released by start of shift--- Verify line setup and speeds are set to the standard and monitor throughout the day--- Stop production for quality or food safety issues as needed--- Make sure the lines are properly staffed, notify the Supervisor of any employee issues--- Receive packaging materials, close production orders, verify cases produced, enter efficiencies and down time into database, run reports--- At the end of the shift make sure paperwork is collected and is in order, and all equipment is shut down properly--- Assist with package changeovers--- Use safety cutters and hand tools--- Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safety work area--EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS (includes physical attributes):--- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred--- Ability to work respectfully and efficiently with others--- Flexible to work overtime and different shifts and at times with short notice--- 1-2 years' experience with driving power lift vehicles --- Ability to setup, run, and trouble shoot line equipment--- Intermittent lifting up to 50lbs --- Ability to read (in English), write (in English), add and subtract--- Ability to work in high temperatures, working at heights up to 6', and exposure to strong smells--
