Job Description:
A company is looking for an Allied Health Practitioner
Credentialing Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Process applications for credentialing and reappointments while
ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Organize and maintain confidential practitioner credential files,
ensuring timely follow-up and accuracy of information
Maintain computerized information in the credentialing database,
documenting all steps in the credentialing process
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required, or an Associate's Degree with
relevant experience
3 years of medical staff credentialing experience in a healthcare
or insurance provider setting
Demonstrated experience with software databases for data
management
Familiarity with legal, state, TJC, and NCQA guidelines for medical
staff compliance
A combination of education and experience may be considered
