Under minimal supervision, develops and executes strategy for one or more marketing initiatives. Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to complex and interrelated matters and projects. Provides specialist-level analysis in several marketing disciplines and/or expert-level in one or more. Recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated budget spending. Coaches others in less senior positions. This Email & CRM Marketing Lead will manage our E2E CRM marketing from strategy through execution and owning performance to continuously optimize the program. They will help to mature our lifecycle strategy across channels to encourage members to shop through their membership and drive incremental sales with our retail partners. In this role, the Lead will partner closely cross-functionally to understand our members, our retail partners' goals, and our product, to optimize campaigns and develop new marketing to continually advance against goals. They should be able to zoom in to the depths of data, processes, and execution; while zooming out to define the big picture to bring the many cross-functional partners along this journey, define long-term plans and elevate the work. To be successful in this role, they should be an expert in Email Marketing to advance our rigor in test & learn, automation and segmentation; confident in their project management skills to establish new processes; and have an interest in online shopping. WHAT YOU'LL DO With the support of a dotted line report, deliver against Consumer Marketing key objectives to grow active members and lifetime value Educate & influence best practices (email, push, SMS) across KPIs, creative, audience Manage and segment a robust promotional calendar and customer file supporting both retailer partner and membership content Oversee end-to-end campaign execution and email operations: ideating creative briefs, managing deliverables across stakeholders to maintain timelines, creating the segmentation, setting up the campaign, QA'ing and deploying the campaign (Iterable.) Partner with engineering to develop campaigns to be used in setting up the campaigns. Lead & assist set up of automations/ journeys throughout the member lifecycle. Analyze performance (in partnership with Analytics) to identify and action on next steps. Collaborate cross-functionally across Partner Marketing, Brand, Design, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science and Customer Support to deliver campaigns, amplify others' initiatives, and advance against the Consumer Marketing roadmap. Test & scale CRM strategy to new channels such as Push notifications, SMS Communicate to elevate wins, opportunities and focus areas to leadership and partners. Keep a pulse on industry trends and learnings to provide subject matter expertise internally. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of email/ CRM marketing experience Demonstrated experience in Email Marketing with hands-on knowledge of marketing clouds/ESPs, segmentation, personalization and automations required Experience in E-Commerce and channels beyond Email a plus (i.e. mobile, SMS, on-site) Familiarity with HTML/CSS a plus Proven track record of driving strategy forward and delivering complex B2C email programs Strong organizational & project management skills with relentless attention to detail under high volume, tight timeline pressure and interest in building processes Strong analytical skills: Comfortable managing complex data sets and deriving insights from it Strong communication: Enabling project management, coaching others, as well as inspiring others with the big picture Ability to collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners Innovative, creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box as well as problem-solve Passion for customer-centric experiences and online shopping Eager to learn and have fun Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or related business discipline. Five (5) years experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline. Knowledge of the broad application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in marketing disciplines, project management and information analysis. Strong human relations and communication/presentation skills. Advanced organizational, quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in database marketing. Experience leading complex initiatives in a corporate environment. Customer-focused orientation. Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
