the Manager of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement
(QAPI), the Analyst I - Regulatory Oversight will provide support
in the review, assessment, and development of business processes
for Regulatory Oversight department programming. The scope of this
role will span across Health Services- which includes BH, CM, UM,
Pharmacy, and ECM. This role is critical in providing analytical
support to each functional area, including data analysis and
reporting, operations, and the integration and development of LEAN
methodology within the department. The Analyst I - Regulatory
Oversight will work closely with the Special Programs Manager and
Analysts of Regulatory Oversight to develop and refine program
strategy. The Analyst I - Regulatory Oversight will help assist
with development of cross-functional collaborations and assist in
development of new program enhancements and various special reports
and projects as needed.Major Functions (Duties and
Responsibilities)1. Track, trend, develop, and analyze department
specific data into operational reports.
2. Assist in the development and analysis of meaningful clinical
and operational dashboards for the department.
3. Determine analytical techniques and information-gathering
processes and obtains required information and data for analysis
and will prepare presentations on analysis findings.
4. Analyze trends and collaborates with the Regulatory Oversight
department to recommend process and/or operational
improvements.
5. Analyze report requests to determine the needs and objectives of
the Regulatory Oversight department. Collaborate with Quality
Systems to correctly identify criteria to meet reporting requests
and ensure delivery of report is accurate, timely, and formatted
appropriately.
6. Provide oversight and monitoring of Health Services data
validation.
7. Perform compilation, data analysis and summary report collection
for of Health Services performance.
8. Develop systems and processes to support operational strategies
that lead to continuous improvement in Health Services
performance.
9. Assist in supporting Health Services Managers and Analysts when
addressing report needs, issues, barriers.
10. Effectively manage assigned projects and report the status of
assigned tasks and/or related problems or issues to Management.
11. Develop and participate in the implementation of department
workflows utilizing process improvement tools and techniques.
12. Collaborate with Regulatory Oversight Special Programs Manager
and Analysts to support alignment of team metrics, objectives, and
projects. -
13. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory and IEHP
requirements as related to Health Services oversight
responsibilities such as reporting requirements.Experience
QualificationsMinimum of two (2) years of experience in a health
plan setting, including experience performing an analytic function
and building reports.Education QualificationsBachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, or related
field from an accredited institution required.Drivers License
Required Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.
Knowledge RequirementSQL Programming knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge in report writing from data warehouse, application
database or specific report writing tools. Must demonstrate a deep
interest in research and data analysis, drawing actionable insights
from raw data and synthesizing information to drive results.Skills
RequirementHigh proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Excellent writing, interpersonal
communication, project management and organizational skills
required. Highly analytical and capable of translating analytical
insights into action. Strong time management skills.Abilities
RequirementAbility to handle multiple projects, data input, strong
problem-solving capability. Excellent data collection and
systemization abilities. Ability to work and communicate
effectively with team members at all levels of organizations. Must
have a high degree of patience and attention to detail. Ability to
work independently in a deadline-driven environment.Commitment to

$61,422.40 and $78,312.00, based upon experience and internal
