- 60% bid response rateRoles & Responsibilities:This position
requires the Outside Sales Representative to spend the majority of
their time on the road, traveling between job sites and customers
account offices. Being sales and performance driven with dedication
to achieving team goals will be critical to the success of our
overall business.
- Present Birdgroup's value proposition to potential customers
- Actively seek out new leads and referrals while developing
client relationships with them.
- Meet sales quota and work to exceed sales quotas
- Build a strong positive relationship with the customers and
subcontractors by demonstrating value, initiative, position,
influence, and supporting BGC
- Obtain level of communication with the Prime Contractors and
subcontractors that provides mutual respect for those involved
- Maintain complete documentation of Prime Contractor and
subcontractor interaction in the CRM (Salesforce) and Company's
project management software (Procore)
- Obtain an accurate bid delivery schedule from estimating
department and subcontractors to ensure bid/job deadlines are met
- Maintain contact with Estimating, Project Managers, and
Operations personnel to ensure that the project is delivered as
promised to the client
- Provide influence and control over customers and subcontractors
expectations regarding our ability to meet specific demands
- Attend site walks, pre-construction, project and staff meetings
- Plan and attend industry trade and convention shows to generate
leads for future businessWhat you will need to be

construction projects preferably with projects valued up to $5

written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational
